An example of a great refinement would be to have a key command to start the 'marquee zoom' rather than constantly having to go to a menu. At the least, make the interface more customizable. Changing the interface is a cosmetic thing, it doesn't make the program more useful. If there is a need to 'improve' Acrobat then it would be through refinement of existing features, not by changing a user interface that works fine. If your critical workflows are impacted, you can switch to the old UI from the “ Menu” on the top left corner of Windows OS and View Menu on MacOS.
